Shot in four different locations - NASA Space Center, Saks Fifth Avenue Christmas Windows, Madame Tussauds at Thanksgiving and The New York International Auto Show during Easter - these are some of our contemporary pilgrimages.

We dream of our possible selves and make those dreams half concrete by attaching them to objects and places, and then - and most importantly - photographing our selves there, with them. Consumerism, idolatry, and photography produce ritual spaces that combine the sacred and the secular.

The point is not to equate all these instances, but to present them so they comment on the others, and on themselves. The videos are projected on the four outside surfaces of a white plexi cube at the center of the room.
